Our Engineers provide cabling installation (both IT voice and data, as well as electrical cabling and switchgear), battery builds and testing, electrical connection and equipment commissioning including uninterruptible power supplies, fire and alarm panels, emergency lighting and building management systems.

All our engineers work within our ISO 9001 and 14001 accredited management systems for quality and environmental management, as well as SAFEContractor for Health & Safety. Electrical installation contracting is carried out to the latest IEE regulations with full certification and compliance. Our project managers provide full site surveys, risk assessments and method statements as part of our overall management of turn-key packages and as requested by our clients.

Thamesgate is also a certified Waste Carrier (with the Environment Agency) allowing the company to take part in the removal and eco-friendly disposal from site of electrical equipment and consumables including UPS batteries and battery sets from standby power systems. Under our ISO 14001 certification we manage waste from client sites to ensure it is recycled under the latest WEEE regulations and national guidelines, as eco-friendly and efficiently as possible.

Electrical maintenance is service provided by our electrical installation contractors division. This covers both planned and reactive (emergency response) maintenance on a range of electrical switchgear, distribution, cabling and hardware systems. Planned maintenance and periodic testing is a pre-requisite for a number of electrical systems to meet legal legislation, national guidelines and manufacturer warranty conditions.
