Their experience, qualifications and certifications ensure that we deliver the best possible electrical work. Offering assistance and advice, as required in terms of the overall design, fault-finding and installation.

As an NICEIC Registered company, you can rest assured that Thamesgate is fully certified to work with Local Authority Building Control Departments, from the initial site survey to concept design, installation and sign off. Our experience as electrical contractors has been built up over many years working with a comprehensive number of clients.

National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC)

The NICEIC is the most widely known and respected organisation who regulate the training and work of electrical enterprises in the UK. The NICEIC is one of only a few providers given Government approval to offer Competent Person Schemes, to oversee electrical work within the electrical industry.

Electrical Contractors register with the organisation to become approved contractors, meeting the NICEIC’s specification of training, quality and safety of installations. The NICEIC carry out annual inspections of all its members’ documentation and installations to ensure they meet the NICEIC’s stringent regulations.

Many local authorities only give work to NICEIC approved electricians.
Thamesgate provide apprenticeships within its Electrical Services Division for applicants who want to work for a leading electrical contractor, offering full ‘hands on’ project work, across the UK.

As an Investment in People Company, Thamesgate’s apprentice scheme helps to develop electricians who can deliver outstanding service, as part of the Thamesgate team.
