Why choose bespoke furniture over mass produced options? The key benefit is that you can create something that makes the best use of the space within a particular learning environment. Produced from high quality materials, Thamesgate’s bespoke furniture offers the added advantage of excellent durability, delivering many years return on investment.
Our end-to-end, in house service starts with an initial site consultation to discuss your requirements and measure the area. From this, we provide 3D designs and a quotation. If alterations are required, one of our design team will liaise with you directly and if necessary, a further site visit can be made.
Following design and cost approval, we conduct a more detailed site survey, agree an installation date and start production. One of the advantages of having our own in-house designers and joinery workshop is that we do not require long lead times for manufacture.
All Thamesgate bespoke furniture is produced from scratch. This gives us far more flexibility over shape and use of space than those suppliers who buy in base units and add bespoke surfaces to them. It also means we control the quality of the materials. All our furniture is manufactured from laminated 18mm MDF that is robust and durable.
We do not use sub-contractors or employ salesmen; the people you meet from our company will be qualified tradesmen, with extensive knowledge and expertise.
Thamesgate have extensive experience in the design and manufacture of tailor-made furniture for school and college storage, seating and workspaces including:
As NICEIC approved electrical contractors, we also offer electrical installation and maintenance services, including interactive whiteboards, CCTV systems, computer and cabling systems. Our experience in educational environments extends to general refurbishment projects such as partitioning, decorating and flooring. Flexible in our approach, we can carry out full project management of multi-trade contracts or work along side your own nominated contractors if required.
Bespoke furniture manufacture is just one aspect of the work undertaken by the Thamgesgate Group. A fully integrated and unified services package can also be selected including end-to-end project management, from design, supply and installation, to ongoing maintenance. Every client is allocated a designated project manager to oversee the quality of the work and provide day-to-day point of contact.
